By now, many of you should be receiving the coat/coats+belts as well as email updates of shipping status. Everything should be fully shipped from our partnering warehouse by the end of the week. Can we get a hip hip?! Hooray!
Once you receive the coat, you'll want to reference the nifty tag instructions attached to the coat on how to fold!
Our founder, Angela Wang, would also like to send you all off with a little video with descriptions about the coat as well as how to style/fold the coat back into the purse form.

We are SOOO EXCITED to inform you...
All coats have safely arrived to our LA Warehouse and we will be sending all packages this week!
All shipping addresses and coat preferences on Backerkit have been locked so they will be getting ready to send out TOMORROW 6/16/21 and the next few days!
They're all HERE!!!

Once again, If we do not receive a change of address before your order ships, we will not be able to process any refunds nor can we send another coat/belt.

Some of you may have received an email asking you to confirm your mailing address as our system was unable to locate a few addresses. This confirmation email is to mitigate any potential lost packages. The emails are titled "URGENT: Orimei Mailing Address Confirmation" SO PLEASE double check your email and spam folders on this to confirm with a follow up e-mail ASAP. Hi Ori Fam!
We are on track for mid June Delivery!
Thank you all for everyone's patience throughout this process. We just want to give all our backers a brief update on what's going on behind the scenes.
Your Orimei coats and belts are all completed and will be shipped to our warehouse early next week. Once your coats are received by our warehouse, they will be shipped out to everyone!
Since we will be shipping in the next week, if anyone has any change of address, PLEASE, Please email [email protected] so we can get all your coats to the right address. If we do not receive a change of address before your order ships, we will not be able to process any refunds nor can we send another coat.
Your coats are completed.
Don't get it twisted...your belts are bundled up!

Production is still ongoing and we should be finished with production by end of next week.
Which means...
(Drumroll, Please)
We will begin transitioning our inventory to our partnering warehouse and expect to begin shipping orders early June!
All color choice on Backerkit have been locked in place as well as shipping addresses.

Update: Behind the Scenes

Happy Friday Ori Fam!!
It's Angela here, and I just wanted to jump in to give everyone a little update on what's happening and a few behind the scenes of the process!
James (Contractor) and Angela (Founder)
Process:
First off, All fabric have been purchased! YESSS
We're currently getting the fabric cut. Which should be done next week. And we're going to get one final sample made out of the fabric cut to make our final sign off. Once that's done, we will move into full production which will take about 3-4 weeks.
While all this is all happening we are are scouting our future partners for warehousing and shipping!
Update on Delivery
We are likely looking at a end of May shipping currently but good news is that we're moving forward! We want to thank everyone's patience on this for being so patient! None of this would have been possible without your help! If you're moving soon, please make sure your address is updated on the Backerkit Survey with your current address for end of May/early June delivery! If you have any questions about shipping and delivery, you may e-mail us at [email protected] so we can further look into your survey and make changes if needed.
